What do you mean by a retained search?

What do you mean by a contingency search?
Under this category an executive search firm is used to fill in an entry- to mid-level position. The executive search firm is paid only if and when a candidate who is selected to fill in the position joins the firm. In normal circumstance the executive search firm provides the clients numerous RESUMEs to choose from. These RESUMEs are selected from the database of the executive search firms through internet searches, advertisements, portal data mining etc.

Our consultants and partners will then start the identification process and will help you find the right candidate.

If our consultant has approached you in connection with any particular opening, you already have a contact point established in our office. We suggest that you may please contact the same person in our organization for further guidance and advice. You may also send in your RESUME to us, and we will keep it in our database. We will ensure that we will keep your information as strictly confidential, and privacy will be maintained. Our consultants are in constant touch with candidates and you can expect a call from them.
